Lau-Lau is a kind of Hawaiian food made with pork or chicken. I don't know whats eating my hubby and his craving for authentic Lau-lau, I'm not Hawaiian but I'll give it a shot and try my best to please him, we prefer Pork Lau-lau.
1). shows the ingredients of pork lau-lau, all you need is luao leaves or taro leave, ti leaves, pork butt cubes preferred with a little fat, butter fish (use for flavor, small size is good enough), and Hawaiian salt or rock salt.
2). lay a taro leaves assemble about 3 cubes of pork butt, 1 small butter fish and sprinkle a pinch of salt and wrap tightly with taro leaves.
3). shows how you place your wrap pork and taro on ti leaves, then wrap the ti leaves over.
4). shows how it looks like when all is wrap.

6). steam for 6 hours or until the taro leaves is done.
5). thats how it looks like when cook, yes not so appealing to look but its so delicious to eat! we love it so much!
