Challenge

I challenge my husband that I can make home cook meal for us on $20 per day for 2-3 person. I told him we don't have to buy fast food meal, we have to stick on home cooking. Hawaii is not a cheap place so I bought bulk meat at wholesale store since it's cheaper per pound compared on other store chains, some fruits and bulk veggies that can stay long on freezer like spinach, baby carrots and other veggies that can be used frozen. I also bough fresh veggies and fruits at the farmer's market. So far I'm sticking on my budget with a healthy home cook meal and I have little extra bucks left.

Acne FREE Skin

My cousin used to have problem with her skin, she gets acne most of the time. She is pretty but the problem is her stubborn acne that still out her natural beauty. I suggest an online acne treatment review site so she can choose the right product for her needs.
I have not seen her for awhile due to our busy schedules, she happens to stop by our place yesterday and I get so surprised of her clear beautiful skin and acne free. He hugs me and thanks me that the online review site help her get the right acne treatment for her skin type.

It's a myth that Jack is a lazy shrewd farmer who use the cross to trap the devil. Another version of the myth says that Jack was getting chased by some villagers from whom he had stolen, when he met the Devil, who claimed it was time for him to die. However, the thief stalled his death by tempting the Devil with a chance to bedevil the church-going villagers chasing him. Jack told the Devil to turn into a coin with which he would pay for the stolen goods (the Devil could take on any shape he wanted); later, when the coin/Devil disappeared, the Christian villagers would fight over who had stolen it. The Devil agreed to this plan. He turned himself into a silver coin and jumped into Jack's wallet, only to find himself next to a cross Jack had also picked up in the village. Jack had closed the wallet tight, and the cross stripped the Devil of his powers; and so he was trapped. In both myths, Jack only lets the Devil go when he agrees never to take his soul. After a while the thief died, as all living things do. Of course, his life had been too sinful for Jack to go to heaven; however, the Devil had promised not to take his soul, and so he was barred from hell as well. Jack now had nowhere to go. He asked how he would see where to go, as he had no light, and the Devil mockingly tossed him an ember that would never burn out from the flames of hell. Jack carved out one of his turnips (which was his favourite food), put the ember inside it, and began endlessly wandering the Earth for a resting place. He became known as "Jack of the Lantern", or Jack-o'-Lantern.

Get Slim

Holiday season is almost here, it means lots of food. There's a lot of family gatherings and party happening during holiday season and we cannot avoid yummy food that give us extra weight. So it's better to take slimming pills now and start to lose weight and continue on during the holidays so we would not pack on extra weight.
I better start shopping for the holidays because I already saw some good deals online. I will also make some list of goodies to make and so the menus. Some of my husband's family will spend the holiday with us so I'm pretty excited.

BOO! Halloween is almost here. I get so curious where did Halloween really starts and why. Upon my diggings, I came to the Celts where it originates. They are believe to be pagans and praise on spirits. They said on October 31st midnight, the soul wandered back on earth, some are good and some are bad. They come to make costumes as protection to the bad spirits, they said the scarier your costumes the better protection you get because you scared the bad spirit away from you.
Our Halloween these days is modernized and mix of different cultures. The history of it is celebrating the harvest / all saints day or hallow eve ( where Halloween word came from) / all souls day. It's a pagan Celts and Catholic mixed in one.

Pineapple Pie

I made this Pie for my husband, he love Pineapple so much that he want it on bread or when I make Banana bread, he wants a hint of pineapple on it. I made him a Pineapple Pie yesterday and he love it.

Pie Crust:
Crust
2 cups Flour
1 stick butter cold
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
4-8 tbsp cold water

Blend salt, sugar and flour in a bowl. Cut cubed chilled butter and add to flour using blender or food processor, add water. Divide dough into two for pie crust and other one for top.

Filling:
1 can Pineapple crust on natural juice
1 cup sugar
1-1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup cornstarch

On medium low heat simmer milk, suga and cornstarch stirring constantly until it thicken. When it's think enough and not runny, add pineapple with its juice and mixed well. Let cool for 30 minutes. Set pie crust and pour in the filling, cover with top pie crust, make four slits for steam to escape. Bake for 30-40 minutes on 375 or until the crust is slightly brown.

We still have our old Dodge truck and we still love it. My husband wants to do some details work on it, like replacing it with chrome trim, the tail light and other stuff. He told me that he ordered online and will be here before the weekend. He is so excited to see his old baby done.
He showed me the online site for chrome trim and they cater for all auto brands. After I saw the chrome stuff, I am now contemplating on changing some details on my truck too.
